Tourist killed in Turkish bus crash

ANTALYA, Turkey, Sept. 20 (UPI) -- A Ukrainian tourist was killed and at least 17 people were injured Tuesday when a minibus carrying tourists overturned in southern Turkey, a report said.

The Anatolia news agency said the minibus was carrying tourists from Antalya Airport to their hotel in the popular Mediterranean resort when the minibus operated by Tez Tour company crashed into a roadblock and overturned.

Ukrainian officials said as many as 21 tourists from Ukraine were involved in the accident, the Ukrainian Independent Information Agency reported. The injured were taken to nearby hospitals,

Fifteen Russian tourists were killed in May 2010 when their tour bus went off a bridge in Antalya, Today's Zaman reported.
