"One should learn to lose as well as to win honestly," Medvedev told Russian party leaders.

State Duma elections are scheduled for Dec. 4.

United Russia party announced its candidates for the elections late last week, The Moscow Times reported.

The party put together lists of Top 10 State Duma candidates for each of the 83 regions across Russia. More than half of all the lists consist of veteran public servants, however, a history teacher, a lathe operator and a potato farmer are new candidates for the upcoming election.
