ADEN, Yemen, July 24 (UPI) -- An explosive-laden car rammed a military convoy in Yemen Sunday, killing at least six people, including the attacker, officials said.
The attack in Aden, Yemen's business capital, injured another 20 people, the Yemen Post reported.
The bombing occurred near an Air Force camp in the Al-Mansoura district as the convoy was departing for the Abyan province, where government troops have been fighting insurgent Islamists for nearly two months, the report said.
Heavy fighting broke out after the explosion and hundreds of government forces were scouring the area for suspects, witnesses told CNN.
It is the second attack on security forces in the area in about a month.
