KHARTOUM, Sudan, July 6 (UPI) -- A boat carrying 200 people caught fire in the Red Sea off Sudan's coast, killing 197 people, Sudanese media reported.
Sudanese-run media said the boat was headed for Saudi Arabia Tuesday and carried "refugees" from "neighboring countries," CNN reported Wednesday.
Three people survived.
The Sudanese news organization reported its sources said four Yemeni owners of the boat were arrested and the boat was confiscated.
A cause for the fire was not given in the media reports.
