YITZHAR, West Bank, June 13 (UPI) -- Israeli border guards and police officers arrested four people suspected of involvement in riots and raided the offices of a West Bank Web site, officials said.

The arrests followed the site's release of a letter from the Israeli military's Judea and Samaria Division commander, Brig. Gen. Nitzan Alon, asking low-level commanders to identify soldiers with "the potential to harm state security," The Jerusalem Post reported.

One of the four arrested is a reporter for the Jewish Voice Web site.

"This is a bizarre action by the police and the Shin Bet," a Web site worker said in a Ynetnews report Monday.

"The Jewish Voice Web site [in Yitzhar] has been openly operating for many months and if there was an offense indictments can be filed."

Officials said the four people in custody are suspected of distributing materials designed to incite protesters and of harassing a public servant.
