Bomb-making facility destroyed

ZABUL, Afghanistan, June 5 (UPI) -- Military officials say combined Afghan and coalition forces busted up a suspected homemade explosive facility in Afghanistan's Arghandab District.

The International Security Assistance Force said troops raided the suspected bomb-making facility after receiving tips from neighbors, seizing equipment and materials necessary in the production of bombs.

The ISAF and the Afghan National Police conducted the operation June 3, with the assistance of U.S. Special Operation Forces.
