MOSCOW, May 25 (UPI) -- Russian President Dmitry Medvedev has a broad agenda for the Group of Eight summit in France, an aide said Wednesday.

The Arab uprisings and Japanese disasters are sure to be discussed in Deauville, Sergei Prikhodko told ITAR-Tass as the president prepared to leave Moscow.

The first working session of the G8 Thursday will address nuclear security, global partnership, climate change, and economic development, he said. The second will discuss Internet issues, including the protection of personal data and intellectual property and fighting cyberterrorism.

On Friday, G8 leaders are to meet with representatives of the interim governments of Tunisia and Egypt and international organizations on measures to support democratic change, Prikhodo said.

The other members of the G8 are the United States, Britain, France, Germany, Italy, Canada and Japan.
