TOKYO, May 1 (UPI) -- Japanese electronics maker Sony has asked the FBI to look into a data breach involving its PlayStation Network services.
Sony Executive Vice President Kazuo Hirai said Sunday there is no indication credit card information of as many as 10 million PlayStation network users worldwide was compromised.

At a news conference at Sony's headquarters in Tokyo, Hirai said in a Kyodo news report there is "no evidence that [credit card information] have been taken at this point."
Sony could not say with certainty the credit card data wasn't breached.
