One member who goes under the name Gloria was allegedly responsible for political work and propaganda of the terrorist group in the region.

Rivera said weapons, war material and important documentation from the FARC camp were confiscated.

President Juan Manuel Santos thanked the police and air force for the joint operation that killed the FARC guerrillas through an online media source.

Statistics show 53 FARC guerrillas have been killed, 90 arrested and 85 voluntarily demobilized as of March.
