TEHRAN, April 11 (UPI) -- Bombs were thrown in Tehran Monday as students rallied outside the Saudi Embassy to protest Saudi intervention in Bahrain, authorities said.

The official Islamic Republic News Agency said the demonstrators held up photos of Bahrainis killed in the government's suppression of dissent and denounced the ruling dynasties of Bahrain and Saudi Arabia.

In March, Saudi troops entered Bahrain to support the Sunni monarchy against Shiite protesters.

Iran's Press TV reported some demonstrators were arrested for hurling firebombs at the embassy and clashing with security forces.

Press TV also reported Bahrain arrested two clerics Monday.
