TRIPOLI, Libya, April 4 (UPI) -- Eman al-Obeidy, the woman who said she was gang-raped by Moammar Gadhafi's fighters, said Monday she is back with her family.
Al-Obeidy has not been seen in public since she burst into a Tripoli hotel March 26 to show foreign reporters bruises and tell her story.
Security forces took her away, and as recently as Saturday, her father said he did not know where she was, CNN reported.
CNN has not independently verified al-Obeidy's charges.
Gadhafi's government had repeatedly said she was released.
