Another big quake off Chilean coast

CONCEPCION, Chile, Feb. 13 (UPI) -- The Chilean coast remained shaky Sunday when a magnitude 6.0 earthquake was detected by seismologists in the United States.

The U.S. Geological Survey said the quake occurred off the coast of Chile's Bio-Bio region, about 15 miles from the city of Concepcion.

CNN said there were no reports of significant damage or injury from the area, which was shaken just two days ago by a larger that sent people streaming out of high-rise buildings.

Hundreds of people in Concepcion were killed a year ago when the region was hit hard by an 8.8-magnitude quake.
