TEHRAN, Jan. 31 (UPI) -- Iran wants freed American hiker Sarah Shourd to return for trial along with her two friends, the top prosecutor said Monday.

Shourd was released Sept. 14 on $500,000 bail. She was arrested with Joshua Fattal and Shane Bauer at the western border on July 31, 2009, and charged with entering illegally from Iraq. They were later charged with espionage.

"Sarah Shourd ... has been summoned by the Revolutionary Court to be present at next trial session" on Sunday, Prosecutor General Gholam Hossein Mohseni Ejeii told the official Fars News Agency.

In November, the three Americans' lawyer said they would go on trial for espionage in February.
