MANAMA, Bahrain, Dec. 9 (UPI) -- The trial for an alleged terror network in Bahrain has been postponed, officials said.
Amid heavy security, the count in Manama Thursday rescheduled until Dec. 23 the trial of 23 people charged with forming an illegal group allegedly meant to undermine Bahrain's stability and security, Gulf News reported.

The National Security Agency broke up the alleged terror group in August. The court has agreed to let international human rights organizations monitor the proceedings.
Two suspects, living in London, will be tried in absentia although the court has asked officials in London to deport them.
