Report: Iraq nabs Saddam-linked terrorist

BAGHDAD, Nov. 21 (UPI) -- Iraqi police said Sunday they had captured the leader of a terrorist group that had claimed responsibility for a string of recent attacks.

Police sources told Kuwait's KUNA news agency that the suspect is believed to be the head of the Naqshbandi Brigades Line, which has ties to a former ranking official of Saddam Hussein's government.

Iraqi commandos made the arrest in the Salah Ad-Din governorate north of Baghdad. Nine other suspects were also taken into custody.
