PARIS, Nov. 4 (UPI) -- Two men were arrested in France, accused of preparing for a terror attack, French Interior Minister Brice Hortefeux said Thursday.

The arrests came in the wake of discoveries of several parcel bombs, including one addressed to French President Nicolas Sarkozy, in Greece and a parcel bomb prepared in Yemen on a U.S-bound cargo plane last week, Radio France Internationale reported Thursday.

The two men were suspected of having links to a terror group, officials said.

France's government said it would initiate tighter security measure on airline passengers.

"A number of indications are leading us to be vigilant," Hortefeux said.

French police have arrested 85 people on suspicion of plotting terror attacks since January.
