GAZA, Oct. 26 (UPI) -- The Islamic Jihad Web site published photos of Turkish activists brandishing weapons, including rocket launchers, in a recent visit to the Gaza Strip.

Some of the activists donned uniforms of the Islamic Jihad's military al-Quds brigades, Ynetnews.com said Tuesday.

The pictures of the Turkish delegation's visit were posted on the terror group's Web site but were later removed, the Israeli Internet site said.

The activists participated in the Viva Palestina 5 flotilla, which recently docked at the Egyptian port of al-Arish where it transferred humanitarian aid to the Gaza Strip. Israel had warned the ship would not be permitted to enter Gaza's waters.

During their visit, some of the Turkish delegation members visited a number of Islamic Jihad posts in Gaza, the Israeli site said.

One of the guests was quoted as telling the group's gunmen they are "a source of pride for all decent people in the Arab and Muslim world," and defined them as "the forefront of the struggle against the Zionists."
