Russian helicopter crash kills two

MOSCOW, Sept. 26 (UPI) -- A helicopter carrying concrete to a construction site in South Russia has crashed, killing two of three crew members aboard, officials said.

The Ka-32 helicopter hit a rope-way on Fisht Mountain at the administrative border between Krasnodar Territory and the Republic of Adygea, caught fire and burned upon crashing, RIA Novosti reported.

The accident happened around noon Sunday; the pilot was injured in the crash, a spokesman for Russia's Federal Air Transport Agency said.

A special Interstate Aviation Committee commission is investigating the accident, the report said.
