Another death at China's Foxconn

SHENZHEN, China, May 15 (UPI) -- Officials at the Chinese technology giant Foxconn said Saturday a man who died the night before was the ninth employee to plummet from a building this year.

A 21-year-old man named Liang died after falling from the top of a seven-floor dormitory building in the southern city of Shenzhen, the company said. Liang was pronounced dead at a hospital.

Police found a knife near Liang's body and were investigating whether the death was a suicide, China's state-run Xinhua news agency reported.

Seven of the nine Foxconn employees who have fallen from buildings since January have died and two remain hospitalized.
