KIEV, Ukraine, Feb. 20 (UPI) -- Ukrainian Prime Minister Yulia Tymoshenko says she has withdrawn her appeal of results favoring rival Viktor Yanukovych in the presidential election.

Tymoshenko said she dropped the appeal because Ukraine's Supreme Administrative Court is biased against her and refused to consider key evidence of election tampering, RIA Novosti, a Russian news agency, reported.

"When we understood that the court had refused to hear witness statements, it was made clear to us that this is not a court and this is no justice," she said Saturday.

Tymoshenko lost the Feb. 7 presidential runoff by a margin of 3.48 percent with international monitors declaring the vote free and fair.

Yanukovych, who is scheduled to be inaugurated Feb. 25, has said he won't be able to work with Tymoshenko as prime minister.

Tymoshenko has refused to step down as prime minister, though she could be voted out when the parliament forms a new ruling coalition, the BBC reported Saturday.
