Ukraine, Russia to discuss entry denials

KIEV, Ukraine, Nov. 29 (UPI) -- Entry denials for travelers between Russia and Ukraine will be discussed by the countries' foreign ministries, Ukraine said Sunday.

The Ukrainian foreign ministry's press service said Ukraine's First Deputy Foreign Minister Volodymyr Khandogiy and Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Grigory Karasin will meet to discuss a series of incidents in which entry has been denied to travelers between the nations, RIA Novosti reported.

The news agency said the latest incident happened last week when Ukrainian authorities would not allow two Russian scientists to enter the country to attend an international conference on youth policy in Ukraine and Russia.
