Washington, D.C., commemorates 75th anniversary of D-Day (12 images)

For those who couldn't make the trip across the pond to France, ceremonial events honoring the June 6, 1944, invasion of Normandy took place in Washington, D.C., on June 6, 2019. A funeral service also was held for D-Day veteran Carl Mann at Arlington National Cemetery.
