A state funeral for former President Jimmy Carter is taking place at Washington National Cathedral in Washington on Thursday. President-elect Donald Trump is attending, along with President Joe Biden and former presidents Barack Obama, George W. Bush and Bill Clinton. Carter, the 39th president of the United States, died December 29, 2024, at age 100.
