Veterans were honored across the country in observance of Veterans Day this week. In addition to ceremonies November 10, 2017, at the U.S. Naval Memorial, World War II Memorial and Korean War Veterans Memorial in Washington, D.C., a parade was held November 11, 2017, in St. Louis.
A fresh wreath was placed at the memorial for the holiday. The significance of the wreath is due to the symbolic nature of flowers and speaks to the inherit beauty and brevity in life. Photo by Kevin Dietsch
