Robots, zombies march in 45th Annual New York Halloween Parade (14 images)

The streets of New York were home to robots, zombies and witches as thousands participated in the 45th Annual Village Halloween Parade on Wednesday.

The 2018 parade theme was "I AM a Robot!" highlighting how "the line distinguishing human from robot becomes increasingly vague" as technology has begun to learn, adapt and react as humans do.

"Affirming our identity,we check the box that says 'I am not a robot' but how can we be so sure? Perhaps we are merely the best of all possible simulations?" the parade's website states.
