President Trump awards his first Medal of Honor (17 images)

President Donald Trump awarded his first Medal of Honor to Vietnam War medic, Army Specialist Five James C. McCloughan, during a ceremony at the White House on Monday.

McCloughan was honored for his heroism in rescuing and attending to wounded troops during the 1969 battle of Hui Yon Hill in Vietnam.
