NASA's biggest rocket, SLS, gets ready for moon mission (78 images)

The Space Launch System rocket, the largest ever built by NASA, is the cornerstone of the Artemis mission to return astronauts to the moon for the first time since 1972. The spacecraft was launched Wednesday from launchpad 39B at the Kennedy Space Center in Cape Canaveral, Florida.
