Motorcyclists ride in 'Rolling to Remember' Memorial Day event (8 images)

More than 50,000 motorcyclists drove past the Lincoln Memorial in Washington, D.C., as part of the "Rolling to Remember" event on Sunday, May, 30, 2021 in honor of those lost or missing in the course of military service.

The event was previously known as "Rolling Thunder" but was adopted by new organizers and sponsors after "Rolling Thunder" founder Artie Mueller said the previous form of the event would end after 31 years because of rising costs and "increased harassment" from the Pentagon.
