‘Monstrous Beauty’ reimagines Chinoiserie through a feminist lens at The Met (10 images)

Journalists and art world insiders gather at the press preview of "Monstrous Beauty: A Feminist Revision of Chinoiserie" at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York City on Monday. The exhibition will open to the public on Tuesday and will remain on view through August 17, 2025.
