President Joe Biden's quest for second term follows 50 years in politics (65 images)

President Joe Biden has officially announced that he is seeking re-election in 2024. Biden has served in government for 50 years. A former U.S. senator, he served as vice president under President Barack Obama. Now 80, Biden became the oldest president ever to assume office in 2021.
