Drawings, models and photographs are on display in the Museum of Modern Art's "Toward a Concrete Utopia: Architecture in Yugoslavia, 1948-1980."
This is the first major U.S. exhibition to study the remarkable body of architectural work from Yugoslavia that sparked international interest during the 45 years of the country's existence.
The exhibit explores themes of large-scale urbanization, technology in everyday life, consumerism, monuments and memorialization, and the global reach of Yugoslav architecture.
