Joe Lieberman dies at 82: a look back at career in politics (30 images)

Longtime senator and former vice presidential nominee Joe Lieberman of Connecticut has died at age 82. Lieberman served in the U.S. Senate for 24 years, first as a Democrat and then later as an Independent. He was Al Gore's running mate in the 2000 presidential campaign. Here's a look back at his career in Washington.
