House committee holds eighth hearing on Jan. 6 Capitol attack (14 images)

The House select committee investigating the Jan. 6 attack on the U.S. Capitol holds the eighth in a series of public hearings in Washington on July 21, 2022. Former White House officials testified that President Donald Trump was unmoved for hours by the many pleas from aides, lawmakers, friends and family members to intervene during the riot.
