Henry Kissinger: 40 moments from decades in diplomacy (40 images)

Henry Kissinger, who served as secretary of state under President Richard Nixon and President Gerald Ford from 1973 to 1977, died at age of 100 on November 29, 2023. Kissinger, a Jewish refugee whose family fled Nazi Germany, was also a national security adviser who consulted presidents for decades. Here's a look back at his career in Washington.
