Diamonds, documents, dinosaurs: The year in rare treasures at auction(16 images)

Some rare, historical and expensive items have passed through the auction block in 2022. An original print of the U.S. Constitution, an Andy Warhol painting of Marilyn Monroe and a basketball jersey worn by Michael Jordan are among the treasures up for sale. Here's a look at some of the items from Sotheby's and Christie's in New York.

One of only two known copies of the official edition of the U.S. Constitution -- the first printing of the final text of the Constitution that are available for private ownership -- is on display at Sotheby's in New York City on October 31, 2022.
