COVID-19 pandemic alters life in New York City (88 images)

New York City swiftly became the U.S. epicenter of the coronavirus pandemic, with cases perhaps starting to peak around April 15, 2020. The city, which was virtually shut down except for essential businesses, started a gradual reopening in June. Here's a collection of scenes from UPI photographer John Angelillo.
