81st anniversary of Pearl Harbor marked at World War II memorial (9 images)

The National Parks Service and Friends of the National World War II Memorial commemorate the 81st anniversary of the Battle of Pearl Harbor with a wreath-laying ceremony in Washington on December 7, 2022. World War II veterans, military officials and more took part in the event. On December 7, 1941, 2,403 Americans were killed when Japanese warplanes attacked the naval base.
