Feb. 19 (UPI) -- President Donald Trump on Wednesday backed the House's one huge budget bill to enact all of his agenda over a two-bill plan from the GOP controlled Senate.
Trump supported the House bill in a social media post that asserted the House bill implements Trump's full MAGA legislative agenda.
At least a few Republicans in the House are concerned over Medicaid cuts in the House bill, according to anonymous concerned GOP lawmakers cited by NBC News.
The House bill is full of Trump agenda priorities and would combine defense and border appropriations while extending $4.5 trillion in Trump tax cuts.
Trump's executive actions are gutting the federal government with mass firings and funding freezes.
While being challenged in court, those moves are setting the stage for a massive tax cut which will Democrats argue benefit the wealthy while government programs are on the chopping block.
The Senate's budget resolution is expected to see a vote this week.
Sen. John Barasso, R-Wy., told reporters the Senate is moving forward on schedule with its own budget resolution.
The first Senate reconciliation bill by Sen. Lindsey Graham, R-S.C., provides approximately $325 billion to pay for Trump's mass deportations and border security crackdown.
In order for Congress to pass a budget, both houses need to agree on a reconciliation bill.
The Senate's expected vote this week could force the House to compromise on the one-bill approach.
