Dec. 7 (UPI) -- Conservative influencer Nick Fuentes, 26, will be arraigned on a battery charge on Dec. 19 in Cook County, Ill., after a vegan activist confronted him at his home in November.

Fuentes, 26, had made an online post regarding abortion that said, "Your body my choice," several days prior to the incident.

Marla Rose, 57, of Berwyn, allegedly posted personal information about Fuentes and traveled to his home on the afternoon of Nov. 10.

Rose said she decided to record a video of Fuentes' home and while recording outside his home was encouraged by a female passing by to "speak with Nicholas, so she rang his doorbell," The Smoking Gun reported.

Rose is a self-described "writer, mother and activist" and co-owner of a website that promotes vegan living.

After arriving at Fuentes' front door and ringing the doorbell, Rose says Fuentes swung it open, knocked her down the stairs and smashed her phone.

Officers responded to a caller reporting a domestic disturbance at 2:27 p.m. on Nov. 10, the Berwyn Police Department said in a report published on its website after a public information request from The Smoking Gun.

The caller was a passerby who told police she saw a male push a female down a flight of stairs, spray her with mace and break her phone by throwing it onto a concrete floor.

The report does not indicate if the passerby is the same woman who allegedly encouraged Rose to speak with Fuentes.

The Berwyn PD incident report says the responding officer approached Fuentes' home, where Rose and Fuentes were standing outside while awaiting the police response.

Fuentes was holding an iPhone that belonged to Rose and returned it to her.

He told the officer he had been harassed and received death threats over the prior three days regarding the online post he made days earlier, which made him fear for his life.

The officer said Rose's eyes were watery but she had no other physical injuries and requested the Berwyn Fire Department's help to treat her, but she refused medical assistance. The officer gave Fuentes and Rose each a copy of the police report and left.

Rose initially declined to file a complaint against Fuentes but later changed her mind. Fuentes afterward was told he would be charged for battery, for which he has a Dec. 19 court date.

He appeared at the Berwyn police station on Nov. 27 for booking and fingerprinting and was released on the same day. Fuentes posted his booking mugshots in a post on X.

Fuentes is a controversial conservative online influencer who has been accused of being a neo-Nazi and white supremacist.
