"As President Trump's broad coalition of supporters and endorsers expands across partisan lines, we are proud that Robert F. Kennedy Jr. and Tulsi Gabbard have been added to the Trump-Vance transition team," senior adviser Brian Hughes said, according to CNBC.

Kennedy suspended his candidacy in battleground states earlier this month to support Trump. Gabbard, the former U.S. representative from Hawaii, ran for the Democratic nomination for president in the 2020 cycle.

"I've been asked to go on the transition team ... to help pick the people who will be running the government and I'm looking forward to that," Kennedy said.

Gabbard left the Democratic Party two years ago and raised her profile among Republicans by being a constant presence on conservative media.

The Trump transition team currently consists of the former president's adult sons Donald Trump Jr. and Eric Trump, his vice presidency running mate J.D. Vance, and his former Small Business Administration head Linda McMahon.
