Sept. 27 (UPI) -- A person of interest in the disappearance of a 19-year-old Florida woman was found dead Monday at a Seminole County apartment complex, sheriff's officials announced.
Orange County Sheriff John Mina told WKMG-TV in Orlando, Fla., that Armando Manuel Caballero, 27, was found dead of an apparent suicide at Camden Club Apartments. He said the Seminole County Sheriff's Office was investigating Caballero's death and was processing his vehicle.
Mina said it appeared as though Caballero had been "dead for quite some time."
Caballero worked at Arden Villas apartment complex in Orange County as a maintenance worker. Miya Marcano was last seen at the complex, where she also works and lives, Friday.
Mina said Marcano's "disappearance is suspicious and our detectives and the family members obviously suspect foul play."
WESH-TV in Orlando reported that Orange County sheriff's deputies have searched the apartment complex where Marcano lived and worked, including the leasing office.
Mina said Caballero had expressed a romantic interest in Marcano, but that she had rebuffed his attention. Caballero allegedly used a master key fob to enter Marcano's apartment about 30 minutes before she was due to finish her shift at the complex Friday.
Authorities had issued an arrest warrant for Caballero for allegedly entering the apartment illegally.
Marcano's family reported her missing Friday night after she failed to board a flight to visit her family in Fort Lauderdale that evening.
