May 29 (UPI) -- Miami police searched Saturday for a gunman who shot seven people overnight in the city's Wynwood area.
The shooting occurred late Friday in the area of Northwest First Court and 20th Street, The Miami Herald reported.

One of the people shot was sent to University of Miami Hospital and the six others were transported to Jackson Memorial Hospital, according to police, NBC 6 South Florida reported.
Five people were grazed and two were in serious condition, officer Kiara Delva told the Herald.
Delva added video footage from the scene "looks like a war zone," and police were searching for a suspect.
Witnesses told WSVN it appeared to be a drive-by, and the shooter was long gone before officers arrived.
