June 26 (UPI) -- Three workers at a Northern California car dealership died late Tuesday after what authorities say was a murder-suicide.

Police in Morgan Hill, about 20 miles southeast of San Jose, said the gunman entered the Ford dealership and shot two supervisors dead before shooting himself. Officials say the shooter was recently fired from his job there.

A handgun was found next to the suspect, police said. The identities of all three were not immediately released.

The dealership building was cleared and secured after the shooting and authorities later searched a home in San Jose believed to belong to the suspect.

The Santa Clara County Sheriff's Office and California Highway Patrol were also called to the shooting. Officials also closed a road in the area for hours after the attack.
