Dec. 11 (UPI) -- Search teams are looking for three men who've been missing inside a West Virginia coal mine for days, officials said Tuesday.

West Virginia Gov. Jim Justice said he's sent additional rescuers to the Rock House Powellton mine, in hopes of finding the men who disappeared over the weekend.

A fourth man emerged from the cave Monday. He gave the location of the other three men.

"When I learned that the missing people were still in the mine I said, 'We needed to go as fast as we can go to get back in there and get them out,'" Justice said. "Many prayers were answered when the one individual exited the mine with information about where the others were located. We are praying they can be found quickly and brought to safety."

The Miners' Health, Safety and Training rescue team was activated Sunday morning after an ATV was found near the mine entrance. It's believed the men rode the ATV to the coal mine, entered and got lost. They were reported missing Saturday.

The MHS&T rescue team is working with the West Virginia Natural Guard, state police and county sheriff's offices on the rescue mission.
