Nov. 26 (UPI) -- Paul Manafort violated his plea agreement by lying to federal prosecutors, special counsel Robert Mueller said in a filing on Monday.
Manafort, President Donald Trump's former campaign chairman, "committed federal crimes by lying to the Federal Bureau of Investigation and the Special Counsel's Office on a variety of subject matters," Mueller's office said in a joint status report, as both prosecutors and defendants asked the court to move his case toward sentencing.
