Oct. 30 (UPI) -- Two people died and one person sustained injuries in a gyrocopter crash in Florida on Tuesday, the Federal Aviation Administration said.

The FAA said two people were onboard the gyrocopter when it crashed into the Sebring Falls Mobile Home Park in Sebring, Fla., at about 3:15 pm.

Deputies identified the gyrocopter's pilot as 45-year-old Christopher Lord and the passenger as Christopher Brugger, 52, Florida's WTSP reported.

A third person on the ground was injured in the crash and wasn't immediately identified.

The aircraft damaged some power lines as it crashed and burst into flames and people were cautioned to avoid the area.
