June 25 (UPI) -- Amazon announced Monday its Prime members will save 10 percent at Whole Foods stores nationwide, starting Wednesday.

The e-commerce company first rolled out the program six weeks ago in Florida and started gradually adding more states in May with the goal to scale the program nationally.

In addition to the 10 percent discount, Amazon said Monday some products from the organic grocer's 365 stores nationwide will show an additional discount.

"Customer feedback has been overwhelmingly positive," said Amazon Prime Vice President Cem Sibay. "Since starting this rollout in mid-May, Prime members have already saved millions of dollars on everything from seasonal favorites to popular products."

Amazon Prime members can access the savings by downloading the Whole Foods Market app.

The company has been working for months on ways to offer members more benefits since it acquired Whole Foods last year.
