June 16 (UPI) -- Budget official Kathy Kraninger will be nominated by the Trump administration to head the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau, the White House announced Saturday.
Kraninger, associate director at the Office of Management and Budget, will continue the reforms initiated by Acting Director Mick Mulvaney and ensure consumers and markets are not harmed by fraud, White House spokeswoman Lindsay Walters said in a statement.
