The first lady has not been seen in public for more than two weeks. She is scheduled to participate, though, in a White House reception Monday for Gold Star Families Memorial Day.
The annual reception honors families who lost relatives in military combat.
Melania Trump was last seen in public May 10, when she and the president arrived at Andrews Air Force Base in Maryland with three Americans who'd been detained in North Korea. She did not travel to Camp David over the weekend for a retreat that included Trump and several of his family members.
Last week, she sought to scuttle rumors of her whereabouts with a tweet that said she's "feeling great & working hard on behalf of children."
I see the media is working overtime speculating where I am & what I'm doing. Rest assured, I'm here at the @WhiteHouse w my family, feeling great, & working hard on behalf of children & the American people!- Melania Trump (@FLOTUS) May 30, 2018
