The incident occurred in the parking lot at Mt. Zion High School. Clayton County police said the two adult women shot were not students.

The woman, whom rescuers described as being in her 40's, was shot multiple times in the chest, WAGA-TV reported. The wounded woman, who was described as being in her 20's, was shot in the leg and was transported to Atlanta Medical Center.

Also, a pregnant female was hurt when she fell during the commotion and taken to the hospital.

The incident occurred as families walked back to the overflow parking lot at the high school, and a group got into an argument that led to the shooting, police said.

Witnesses told WAGA-TV they heard several gunshots and ran from the gunfire.

No arrests have been made but WSB-TV reported investigators are searching for at least one suspect.
